Diligent quality control, together with meticulous attention to the composition and presentation of our products, plays a central role in the Biover company strategy.
Biover has already been ISO 9001 certified since 1996. With the update to the ISO 9001: 2000 system in 2002, integrated manufacturing processes, efficient and thorough communication (both internal and external), and total customer satisfaction now take a more central line in our quality management system than ever before.
In 2002, Biover also earned the ISO 14001 certificate for its environmental care system. Attention to the environment and sustainable production have become increasingly important in our society. Biover endeavours to be proactive in this cooperative effort.
In all our business processes – from design to distribution – we strive for maximum efficiency and quality, as well as a minimum of detriment to human beings and their environment. On the one hand, we hope to achieve this through the use of environmentally friendly materials (of natural origin). On the other hand, we do everything possible to keep levels of air and water emissions, noise, waste products, etc. as low as possible. At Biover, recycling and waste prevention are two of the most important aspects of environmental management.
In our ongoing effort to provide products of utmost quality and safety, we stringently follow both the standards for hygiene and those of the HACCP, and continually drive to improve upon them. In recent years, we have made extraordinary efforts in order to optimise our HACCP system.
At the end of 2005 we earned our HACCP certificate for design, production, conditioning and commercialisation of natural health products, namely food supplements and herbal therapies.
This HACCP certificate, along with the ISO 9001 certificate for our quality control system, and the ISO 14001 certificate for our environmental care system, forms an ideal framework for proactively improving our overall level of quality.
The attainment of these certificates is not the end goal, but rather the beginning of our initiative to continuously re-evaluate and further improve our organisation, our structure and our products.
